I did it.
It’s done.
I finalized our home lighting. This was a challenge that took a LONG time.
Because I know how difficult choosing the right home lighting can be, I want to share not only my picks but some advice I learned along the way.
I really hope this helps you out! (Did I mention it took a long time? 😉 )
Home Lighting Tips
Hopefully all of my time and energy searching for the right lights was not only for me!
Price Match
Always research (google) the exact lighting to see if you can find it elsewhere for a lower price.
If you are going through a local lighting store, check to see if they will price match. (And if the don’t, don’t buy that item from them – remember: it’s YOUR money and YOUR house.)
Find Similar Light Styles on Pinterest
When you find a light you like, find it on Pinterest… then swipe up to see more. You may find similar finds that you may prefer or are more affordable.

Stay Consistent
Lighting impacts the tone of your home. Make sure your lights complement each other in order to achieve a cohesive look.
Don’t Be Afraid to Shop from General Retailers (Amazon, Walmart)
Buying something from a big box retailer does not lessen the value of the product. At times, I found the exact same lighting fixture on Amazon/Walmart for a lesser price. (And sometimes the price was the same, but that free shipping from Amazon Prime did play in the deciding factor. 🙂 )

OOOOhhhh love all of these! I feel like option one or ten would be great options for an over the since bathroom in the guest room and then for the master bathroom i think option nine would look so elegant.
